after months of doubt and sedition, there comes a day in which i enjoy being a citizen of poetryland..♥️ today is such a day because I read your poems.
There's so much humor here, but also sweetness. And it's so familiar, as I'm always having conversations with objects. Right now it's the plants in the garden: "Welcome back! Look at you, so pretty!" AND - is there anything better than a new pen or pencil? They have this magic ability to make you feel new, too. This works wonderfully on so many levels. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you, Raju! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my poems, and that we’re both citizens of poetryland. :)
Really nice! And pencils tend to be a good ally!
Thank you! And yes, they do! :)
Fabulous
Thank you, Tamsin! :)

Thank you, Tara! And I agree — I'm a big fan of having conversations with the objects in my life. :)
I love this, indubitably!
🤣 Thanks, Fotini!
This really made me laugh!
I'm so glad, Margaret! Thanks for reading :)
I would like to hear what the pencil has to say.
Yes! There might be a poem there...
